9/11 Composition

Balance
This pictures balanced because the towers are geometric,
and there is enough room to see where the smoke is going.
Framing
The buildings are framing the smoke and the collapsing
building perfectly. The lamp posts also helps with the framing by
making more of a smaller frame around a smaller part of the smoke.
Lines
The smoke is in an perfect line, they are going
horizontal while the building lines are going
vertical. The lines on the buildings are also straight.
Rule of Thirds
Both the towers are off on the right side, my eye goes
automatically to it. There is enough room too see
where the smoke goes.
Simplicity
This is a great example of simplicity because the background
is plain and simple. My eye automatically goes to the subject.

Avoiding Mergers
This image cuts out a few people and the top of the building.
To make this a better photo, the photographer
should have taken a step out or zoomed out.
